Profile - MELISSA BAYLEY

In 1991 Melissa was introduced to her first procurement role - baptized by incredible inefficiency in a retail environment, she found herself just trying to make her work life easier and subsequently found her calling. Unlike her previous dream to work in the stock market, her new passion, procurement and business process improvement gave her opportunity to influence the micro economic environment in which she participated.

After 10 years of procurement in a vast variety of industries from retail to transport to IT and banking, finding her tools and techniques directly transferable, she incited positive outcomes in every company she dealt with, their suppliers and their customers supply chains, Melissa found her skills in great demand and in 2001 established $AVE.IT Pty Ltd.

Outside of Consulting and delivering Workshops, Melissa supports the industry by participating on committees and facilitating network meetings and balances this well with her other passion for American cars.
